1. About Republic of UX

Republic of UX is a product design studio offering services including product design, UX audit and consulting, web design, generative AI design, and creative and marketing design. Details on the Site (including case studies, pricing ranges, and service descriptions) are for general information and are not a binding offer until confirmed in a signed proposal or contract.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Copy, scrape, or reproduce Site content for commercial use without permission
• Use the Site to transmit harmful code or disrupt its operation
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us

3. Intellectual Property

Our content. All text, design work, case studies, graphics, and branding on the Site are owned by Republic of UX or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

Case studies. Case studies shown on the Site may be shared with client permission or generalized/anonymized to protect confidential information. Client names, logos, and specific metrics are used only where authorized.

Client project work. Ownership and licensing of work product created for a specific client engagement is governed by the separate contract or statement of work signed for that engagement, not by these Terms.

4. Inquiries, Proposals, and Engagements

Submitting a contact form or inquiry does not create a contractual relationship. A binding engagement begins only when both parties sign a proposal, statement of work, or contract that sets out scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and payment terms.

Pricing figures referenced on the Site are indicative starting ranges and may vary based on project scope, complexity, and timeline.

5. Payments

Where applicable, payment terms (deposits, milestones, invoicing schedule, and late payment terms) will be set out in the individual project contract or proposal, not in these Terms.

6. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Republic of UX will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site will not exceed the amount (if any) you paid to us in connection with that claim.

This limitation does not apply to obligations under a separate signed client contract, which is governed by its own terms.

9. Indemnification
